Day 01: Varanasi – Bodhgaya
After breakfast proceed for Bodhgaya which is about 260 kms / 6-7 hrs drive. Bodhgaya is the place where Gautama Buddha attained unsurpassed, supreme Enlightenment. On arrival check into hotel and the rest of the day is free. You can leave for attending evening prayer at Mahabodhi temple. Later, return to the hotel and have a comfortable stay at night.
Day 02: Bodhgaya
Bodhgaya is counted one among the four most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. After having your breakfast, leave for a sightseeing trip around this beautiful place. Explore the beauty of Buddhist culture and lifestyle with a stroll around this place. Visit places like the Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River and Sujata Temple. Sightseeing of Maha Bodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree. Visit the Chinese Temple. Also visit the school of the destitute. After your sightseeing tour, return to the hotel and stay overnight
Day 03: Bodh Gaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna Departure
After breakfast, depart for Patna enroot visit rajgir & nalanda.Rajgir was the capital of the Magadha kingdom and is a pilgrimage for Jains and Hindus as well. The Japanese Buddhists have built the massive Vishwashanti Stupa on the Ratnagiri Hill which can be accessed by a chairlift. The stupa has statues of Buddha at the four stages of his life – birth, enlightenment, teaching and death. From the hill top, the Jain shrines can also be viewed scattered across 26 distant hills. Griddhakuta, located on Ratnagiri Hill is another site where Budhha stopped by to preach .Nalanda is the ancient university town of Bihar, goes back to the days of Buddha and Mahavira in the Sixth Century B.C. The town was home to Nalanda Mahavihara, a monastic university of international repute.Later proceed to Patna for airport departure
